Security

The NPH clinic uses secure online forms, booking system and cloud based client record tracking.

G-Suite online forms: - online forms are produced and stored in the paid business enterprise G-Suite application owned by Google. After forms are filled out they are downloaded by NPH and then deleted from the cloud.

The G-Suite application is designed to meet stringent privacy and security standards based on industry best practices. In addition to strong contractual commitments regarding data ownership, data use, security, transparency, and accountability,  It adheres to a physical security model which includes safeguards like custom electronic access cards, perimeter fencing, and metal detectors. They also use cutting-edge tools like biometrics and laser-based intrusion detection to make physical breaches a "mission impossible" scenario for would-be attackers.  More can be read by clicking on https://gsuite.google.com.au/intl/en_au/security/?secure-by-design_activeEl=data-centers

Cliniko online booking system and client record tracking system:  Cliniko is one of the industry standard booking and record keeping systems. It allows you to make your booking online and the practitioner to record observations and treatment plans on a patient case.  It is  hosted in state of the art datacenter facilities. Physical access is controlled both at the perimeter and at building ingress points by professional security staff utilising video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and other electronic means.

We have enabled their two factor authentication where we not only enable a password but also a log-in code generated on a smartphone.

Cliniko runs completely under HTTPS. This means data is encrypted during transfer using a 2048-bit SSL certificate. The database and file attachments are encrypted at rest, using the industry standard AES-256 encryption algorithm. More detail can be read here: https://www.cliniko.com/security
